It is a lifestyle that requires an active participation on our part. It requires that we put the necessary work in to remain set apart for Christ. The Word has to be at work in us and that requires it to be a habitual part of our daily lives. We have to have an ongoing relationship with the Lord that challenges our flesh to yield. Christ has to start shining through us, people in the world and our brothers and sisters have to see change taking place. Life can never remain the same when we are truly spending time with the Lord. Our lives have to reflect that we have been with Him. He truly makes us holy like Himself.
