No matter what we do as believers or unbelievers we could never satisfy the Holiness and Righteousness of God our Father. It took the pure blood of Jesus Christ, the Holy Lamb of God, to satisfy God’s Righteousness. Today we celebrate the death of our Lord. He willingly gave His life for our sins, He had none of His own. His blood has washed us and made us clean by the forgiveness of our sins. He has covered us so that when our Righteous God looks at us, He sees the blood of His Son that was shed for us. We can do nothing to deserve this gift, all we can do is accept it and repent from our sins and follow Him. He is worthy of all our worship and praise.
