“Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might..” We are weak but we don’t know it. We don’t realize that it is because of His mercies and His grace that we are alive. He SUSTAINS us from day to day without asking for anything from us. God is so great that He can sustain this entire universe all by Himself. How awesome is that? He can do it all by Himself. We can’t comprehend how that is possible. He holds all power in His mighty outstretched arms.
We have to be grateful to Him for the special God that He is. Think about this, how many of us if we hated something with a passion we would make provisions for those who would desire the thing that we hated? That is what God did when He sent His son to die for us. We were sinners and yet God who could not entertain sin allowed His son to become our sacrifice. What a might God we serve.
