Keep Hope Alive

Have you ever reached the end of your faith? At least you think so. What about feeling that God has overlooked you time and time again. Well, He hasn’t but because He operates on His time schedule, it may seem that way. God has heard your innermost cries and He has heard your request. All the scriptures that tell us that He will answer our request is true. God is never short concerning His promises. He is never limited. He never needs to ask for help. He is the sole supplier of all things and this world exist because He holds it all together with His Word. God is sufficient, all powerful, all knowing, and always present. There is never a was to God, He IS always. I have proven Him for myself and even now I struggle with the temptation of impatience. In the depths of my soul, His Spirit lets me know that He will see me through. God is never late and He will bless you with what He knows is the best for you. The trial of our faith brings patience and with patience contentment in Christ as we begin to trust Him and wait on Him for direction. All that we go through will work out for our good if we can trust God through all our situations. He knows what is best for...

His Blood

No matter what we do as believers or unbelievers we could never satisfy the Holiness and Righteousness of God our Father. It took the pure blood of Jesus Christ, the Holy Lamb of God, to satisfy God’s Righteousness. Today we celebrate the death of our Lord. He willingly gave His life for our sins,  He had none of His own. His blood has washed us and made us clean by the forgiveness of our sins. He has covered us so that when our Righteous God looks at us, He sees the blood of His Son that was shed for us. We can do nothing to deserve this gift, all we can do is accept it and repent from our sins and follow Him. He is worthy of all our worship and...

Will The Real Jesus Stand Up

We are ambassadors of Christ wherever we go. There are so many hurting people out in the world. They don’t even know why they are hurting. They are angry and don’t know why. The world as a whole needs peace, the peace of Christ. You can’t preach it to them, they are more in need of the message given to them in our actions than our eloquent words. People don’t want to be told that God is good, they want to see that God is good. They want to see our words come alive through our living. The world is looking for Jesus to show up in person. They are totally correct for wanting Him to actively show His face. Bodacious! Yes, we live in a world that is bold. They aren’t naive, they have come of age. They are tired of sheep in wolf clothing. They want to see the real Jesus stand up. We are the real Jesus while we awaits His return. We have to give Him access to our minds, our hearts, our hands, and our feet. Will we let Him love through us? Will we let Him touch a heart and body through us? Will we allow Him to heal a broken body through us? Will we allow Jesus to be Himself through us? That is the only way that the world will see Jesus come alive. We must relinquish control of ourselves to Him so that He can heal the world through...

Never Forget His Blessings

Many times we are so busy asking God for more, that we never recall the blessings that He has blessed us with. We go from day to day wanting more and more, like feeding babies, never giving thanks for what we have. How many times this week have we opened our eyes in the morning and thank God for a good night sleep? What about a roof over our heads? What about running water to brush our teeth? What about eyes to see and ears to hear? What about teeth to brush? There are so many things that we are blessed with but we don’t take the time to appreciate God for. If we were to give thanks to God, we wouldn’t need to think up things to pray about. He would shower us with blessings that we wouldn’t know what to do with. Its amazing to me why He continues to bless us, when we give Him so little appreciation. Let us take some mental time to give God...

Loving One Another

Why do we fight and treat each other as enemies? We have only one enemy and that is the devil. As Christians we are family. The same royal blood flows through our veins. How can family treat one another  the way we do. Without love for each other we cannot accomplish much in the Kingdom of God. God is love and without love we will never be able to please God. We come to the building we call church in vain, we put on programs in vain, we pray in vain because all these things that we do require love for each other. Love is what unifies the Body of...
