Sometimes we are at the entrance to something great but God does not show us the path we must take. He gives us an open door and speaks to us in a still voice telling us to trust Him. He also reminds us in His word to not be anxious of anything but to proceed in prayer and supplication. He knows where we are going and He knows where to lead us. The example that comes to my mind is of a traveler walking on a road but the road comes to the edge of a cliff. No way around but to go across or to turn around and go back. In our case God says to trust Him by stepping out on faith. Only thing is, we don’t see any place to put our foot. It takes all of the faith in us to deny our human desire to know everything and to be in control. Only thing is we have only one choice, if faith in God is our desire. God wants us to trust Him. We have to know for our selves that He wants the best for us. He is our Father who wouldn’t hurt us in any way. Why is it that we trust Him the least? Isn’t He big enough for our impossibilities? Let me know how you feel, I’d like to...

Sometimes we forget to thank God for all that He does. They are so many that it would be impossible to name them all but we can tell Him thanks for the ones that we know. He blesses us at times and we neglect to say thank you. God deserves all the praise and honor. Our attitudes are to show that we appreciate what He does. What if one day we are restricted to our beds as many people are this morning and no one is there to help us. All the things that we take for granted are inaccessible to us. Like our eyes, ears, mouth, hands, feet, etc. We would be in a mess like so many people are this morning. God is great and greatly to be praised. He never complains about our lack of appreciation. He keeps on providing day in and day out. He is awesome. Thank You Lord for all that You do that we don’t give You appreciation for. Teach us to number our blessings and give thanks to you for...

Sometimes we go through times when nothing seems to go right for us. Its not that we are living an unsaved lifestyle but God knows us better than anyone. He knows when there are things in us that are contaminating our relationship with Him or He needs us to grow stronger and more mature in Him. Many of us have lived safe lives that does not leave God any choice but to shake us up. The potter has total authority over the clay that he is molding but if the clay is too hard for him to form, he has to break it and mold it again. God does the same thing with us. When we are going through the process of being broken, it hurts. Sometimes we feel as if we are about to die. God knows every thing about us, He knows how far to stretch us. We may not think that He is with you at those times but He is right there by our sides. He just wants us to trust Him. He knows what we need to complete that process. He only desires our best. Just be patient and seek the Lord for...

Just looking at the things around me and I am mesmerized at the amount of detail that God has put into each of them. Just take for instance the trees. Not one tree is the same as another even though they are from the same species. When I walk along the beach, I take up a few shells and I realize that each of them that I pick up has totally different designs. Looking at any two people, even identical twins, and you will see the uniqueness of God Himself in everyone. We serve an awesome Creator and designer. He puts His special attributes into every one of His creations. All we have to do is look and we’ll have more than enough to give Him thanks...
