Loving One Another

Why do we fight and treat each other as enemies? We have only one enemy and that is the devil. As Christians we are family. The same royal blood flows through our veins. How can family treat one another  the way we do. Without love for each other we cannot accomplish much in the Kingdom of God. God is love and without love we will never be able to please God. We come to the building we call church in vain, we put on programs in vain, we pray in vain because all these things that we do require love for each other. Love is what unifies the Body of...

What is Hindering You From Your Best?

God has given us abilities that He has never put a limit on. He has blessed us with “potential” to be and do anything that we desire to be and do. We are the only ones that are stopping us. An atom has a potential to create massive destruction but it is only a potential, without the right process, it will only have the potential. We are the same, God never puts a governor on us, we are the ones who have limited our dreams. We allow the enemy to stifle our creativity and lie to us about what we can or cannot do. God is always giving us the enthusiasm and motivation to strive for excellence. We will never know where our maximum potential is until we set it. God is unlimited and He has created His children to have unlimited potential. The only one that is hindering us from being our best is us. What could we do if there were no boundaries and unlimited possibilities? Anything that we put our minds to. When we partner with God, He will direct us in the path where we will receive the best return on our...

Appreciation

This word is a beautiful word and the lack of it makes any individual hunger for it. Many of us pray hard and even fast for God to do a specific thing in our lives or others but we often forget to give God appreciation for His grace towards us. I think many of us have reached a point in our lives that we think that we “deserve” it. Whether we deserve it or not, giving God appreciation for an answered prayer is part of our worship towards Him. Another part of that same puzzle is appreciating one another for being a blessing to us. It could be the smallest action performed, appreciation is more important than money at times. God will bless you when you are grateful by showing appreciation for all that He does for us through...

Having The Peace of Christ

Christ said that He has left His peace for us. Which means that all we need to do is receive it and activate it in our lives. Why should we have so much stress in our lives as Christians when He has left us this promise. He says to cast our cares upon Him because He cares for us. Why should we carry around so much baggage with us and burden ourselves when He said that His burden is light. We must learn to accept the word that we read. His Word is true and by faith, He will do what He said He will do. God is not a man that He should fail, He cannot fail. Our God is a mighty deliverer and He said that we are over comers. We must rise and take our positions as children of the King of...

Enjoying God’s Favor

We are in God’s favor all ways. Our lives are secured in Him. His protection and grace surrounds us daily. We have no need that God does not supply because His Word cannot lie. Our responsibility is to give God thanks for applying His favor to us everyday. God is our Lord and He is also our Father. He is not a dead beat dad as those that we have in this world that we live in. He assumes total responsibility for His creation and He is ever patient. He has never given up on us, even when we have given Him more reasons than we can count. When we learn to be grateful for His favor in our lives, He will open more blessings in our lives. He has no quota on blessings. He can give it all day long without emptying His resources. We serve a mighty BIG God and He Has a mighty BIG HEART. We need to give Him BIG PRAISE and THANKSGIVING for who He is and what He has done and is doing in our...

Consistent, Predictable, and Transparent

All these words describe a life that is genuine. When Christ is the center of our lives we become consistent with our actions. We become predictable in our responses. We become transparent in our life style. Outside observers will look on and say as they did about the disciples, “these men have been with Jesus.” The Word of God will come alive in our lives so much that our lives will speak louder than our words. No one will have to second guess us. We will be a genuine reflection of Christ wherever we go. The Word of God is what makes this transformation possible. Nothing outside of the Word of God will transform us because God causes the transformation of the seed of His Word that we sow in our lives. He alone can bring forth fruit from His Word. God can help us to have a consistent character that becomes predictable and transparent. All that will be reflected from our lives is Christ the Savior of...
