Life is tough but God is able to take us through. How much will you take before you quit on your God. When everything is going out of control and your not in control any longer, will you tell God it is enough. How about when you’ve prayed for healing for a long time, or you’ve prayed for healing for a close relative or friend but they don’t get healed. Will that do it for your faith? What about when you have prayed for a spouse because life just gets so lonely at times and you have almost reached the end of your child baring years but your prayers have not been answered. Will that do it for your faith? How about you praying for a financial breakthrough because your bills have caught up with you and your credit is being ruined. Will that do for your faith? What is your quitting point? The Bible said that all those who decide to live for Christ will suffer persecution. Could it be that God just wants you to see what you’re made of. Sometimes we think that we have reached our limit but God wants to show us that we can go farther than we think. He wants to stretch us to a new level but the process hurts because we resist the unknown. All of us have to go through this process of growth. You’ve tried to give life all you’ve got but you haven’t seen any results. It’s like playing a basketball game, you’re in the playoff of your life and play for play the opposing team is head to head with you. Every point from you is answered by the opposing team. You pray for a “stop”, that is a stop in the opposing team’s scoring. All you need is a break so that you can get ahead. None is coming for you and so you keep playing at the same level, hoping that they will make a mistake so you can capitalize on it. Life is like that. You are praying consistently and working hard. Your prayer to God is, Lord give me a break so that I can move ahead. You can’t let up on your dreams because you will definitely lose. You have to keep going at it even when you don’t see what is going to happen. You have to keep going when the doubts come in your mind. You have to wipe the tears from your eyes while you keep forging ahead. Even when you can’t see God or even feel His presence in your situation, you have to keep going. Even when your best friend tells you that you’re wasting your time, you have to keep going. Christ said that He has left His peace for us. Which means that all we need to do is receive it and activate it in our lives. Why should we have so much stress in our lives as Christians when He has left us this promise. He says to cast our cares upon Him because He cares for us. We are in God’s favor all ways. Our lives are secured in Him. His protection and grace surrounds us daily. We have no need that God does not supply because His Word cannot lie. Our responsibility is to give God thanks for applying His favor to us everyday. God is our Lord and He is also our Father. He is not a dead beat dad as those that we have in this world that we live in. He assumes total responsibility for His creation and He is ever patient.
